Kalonzo bold advice to Ruto

The leader of Wiper Democratic Movement Kalonzo Musyoka has asked the Deputy President to ensure that all public funds are accounted for.

While speaking during the burial of Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata’s mother in Kiharu Constituency, Murang’a County challenged Ruto, who is considered a front-runner in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, to stand firm as far as corruption in his office is concerned.

He further added saying that there is need to deal with corruption with the seriousness it deserves before it is too late.

“I wanted to also tell Mr. Deputy President one thing. I am happy you are saying there is no coin that was stolen. But if indeed, I challenge my learned brother Murkomen to check on that,” said Kalonzo.

The alleged loss of Sh21 billion allocated to Arror and Kimwarer dams has continued to elicit mixed reactions from different factions.

Ruto has, however, refused to change tune amid massive pressure from leaders and the general public on his position about the billions allegedly lost to the two projects.
