Last week, as Kenyans were anxiously waiting for President Uhuru Kenyatta to crack the whip on corrupt ministers, Uhuru decided to play PR with us and fired the incompetent class seven drop out Rashid Echesa.
Echesa was used as a sacrificial lamb to hide the gaps in Uhuru’s administration. He has not been mentioned in any major corruption scandals. The big thieves remained in government.

Now Uhuru has another chance to crack the whip on corruption. Treasury CS Henry Rotich was summoned at the DCI headquarters over the Arror and Kimwarer Dams Scandal.

Rotich is on the spot for releasing more than 21 billion shillings for the projects. He also bought more than 300 acres of land near the site and is awaiting government compensation.
So will Uhuru fire Henry Rotich?
