There is a Kikuyu saying which states mùcera na mùkùndù akùndùkaga. This can be loosely translated into ‘You are judged by the company you keep’
And that is how former NASA strategist and Economist David Ndii has described the relationship between Raila Odinga and his brother Uhuru Kenyatta.
There was a time when Ndii was Raila’s number one supporter. Ndii was even ready to denounce his birthright as a Kikuyu for the love of baba.
But Raila betrayed all that Ndii advocated when he decided to shake hands with Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ndii is Uhuru’s number one critic and believes Kenya’s problems will be solved if Uhuru was removed from power.
And now David Ndii has suggested that Raila is as bad as the Jubilee duo of Uhuru and Ruto since he hangs out with them.
