Who destroyed Moses Kuria’s billboard?

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is a disappointed man after unknown people pulled down his billboard.

The billboard was designed by Kuria to welcome visitors to the 6th Devolution Conference held in Kirinyaga County and was erected on March 1.

The lawmaker when travelling to Murang’a to attend the burial of Margaret Wangechi Irungu, mother to Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata, learnt the bill board that was erected near a Del Monte shop was destroyed.

Motorists who on Sunday night used the Nairobi-Nyeri Highway, said the bill board was visible before it was reportedly pulled down in the morning.

Speaking at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church where the funeral mass was presided, Kuria said the bill board will be replaced and guarded.

He said bill boards placed in other parts of Kiambu and Nyeri counties are intact.

“It is a planned move as how can only the bill board at Del Monte area in Murang’a County was pulled down,” said Kuria who has declared to vie for Presidency in 2022.

He said he has reported the incident to the agency he contracted to place the bill board.

“I left it to Magnate to report to the police as I make arrangements for its replacement,” he said.

During last election period, there was an outcry between Kang’ata and former Senator Kembi Gitura after their bill boards placed on the same location were destroyed.
