Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria was left arms up after his billboard was maliciously pulled down barely 3 days after it was erected.

The billboard was specifically designed by the vocal legislator himself and placed strategically near a Del Monte shop.

It was designed to welcome Kenyans to the 6th Devolution Conference held in Kirinyaga County, but unfortunately, the message barely reached its maximum audience.

Kuria learned that the billboard had been destroyed while on his way Murang’a to attend the burial of Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata’s mother Margaret Wangeci.

According to motorists, the billboard was still visible on Sunday evening but the billboard slot was empty on Monday, March 4.

On learning of the malicious, act, Kuria was categorical that it was a well-executed plan by elements who were keen on keeping his name out of any political running.

“It is a planned move as how can only the billboard at Del Monte area in Murang’a County was pulled down,” he spoke at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church where the funeral mass was taking place.

Kuria, however, maintained that despite the setback, another billboard would be erected.

“I left it to Magnate to report to the police as I make arrangements for its replacement,” he went on.

Moses Kuria pleads with fellow 2022 presidential hopefuls to tone down premature political rhetorics.

The vocal MP has openly expressed his interest in running for the presidency in 2022 and as expected, his declaration was not necessarily been met with joy, particularly within the Jubilee camp.

It was especially interesting that Kuria sensationally narrowed down his possible running mates to the likes of ODM boss Raila Odinga and Kivutha Kibwana. Taking to his social media, he insisted his bid for the presidency was still on despite the political witch hunt against him.

“So someone has pulled down my billboard at Delmonte in Muranga County. Will you also pull down my Presidential bid? Shame on you,” he wrote.
