Kalonzo has this to say on the Ruto’s Dam Scandal

Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka addressed Deputy President William Ruto and Jubilee Party in general regarding the corruption allegations in the construction of two dams.

While speaking at the burial of Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata’s mother in Kiharu Constituency, Murang’a County on Monday, Kalonzo informed that there was a need for the government to deal with the issue with the importance that it deserves.

Kalonzo advised Ruto and the Jubilee government to consider establishing working collaboration with the Italian government in the investigation.

He stated, “And I wanted to also tell Mr Deputy President one thing, and am happy you are saying hakuna ndururu iliibiwa (there is no coin that was stolen).”

“But if indeed, and I challenge my learned brother Murkomen to check on that, if indeed after playing… and now a company is in receivership in Rome, in Italy. I want to suggest very seriously that you do need to ask the Italian government to help you the Jubilee government unravel this ministry,” continued Kalonzo.

He stated that such is particularly important since there is much seemingly unknown from the perspective of the Kenyan government.

This comes after DPP Noordin Haji reportedly found out that the company in Italy was owned by persons in Kenya’s political spheres.

Kalonzo warned that the anger in Kenyans could soon imply bead and undesired consequences to the politicians involved in the scam.

He added that the matter was “a big issue,” adding that “this is not small money.”
