DP Ruto’s latest sensational claims that the war against corruption has been politicised seem to be gaining momentum with each day that passes.
The recent Dams scandals seem to have been the last straw on Ruto with the DP claiming that the whole issue has been blown out of proportion.
Ruto claimed that investigative agencies were not doing their work and that it is for this reason that exaggerated figures were doing rounds in the media.
“What is unacceptable to us is the use of propaganda with the aim of politicising and profiling government projects so that development partners can run away,” Said Ruto.
His latest sentiments have been supported by Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka who has now called on the Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji to conduct accurate investigations relating to corruption cases and establish the truth before other agencies can take over.
“Time has come when we must slay the dragon of corruption,” the Wiper leader said.
