Talking about his new music, ‘Mungu halali’ Blinky Bill has talked about the reason as to why he got do that song, stating that he schooled with Nonini.
He narrates; ”It was a combination of many things. I grew up in a family of religious people but I question a lot of mainstream religion plus I am spiritual. I am glad people are resonating with it because the last few years in Kenya have been tough so this is just a song of encouragement to Kenyans just to let them know it’s going to be okay.

I went to school with nonini where I was prefect and nonini was always on the noisemakers list but i made up the snitching with the song makmende where we worked together.
