Fitness Fears For Man City’s Sergio Aguero Before Bournemouth

Sergio Aguero’s amazing run of scoring goals at the Etihad Stadium continued on Wednesday night against West Ham.

Man City’s Argentine forward scored a second half penalty to wrap up the three points.

Aguero is now the top scorer in the Premier League with 18 goals.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has 17 goals, while Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has 16.

Tottenham’s Harry Kane has 15 goals.

Next up for Man City is an away match at Bournemouth.

Away from home, Bournemouth are appalling.

In midweek the Cherries lost 5-1 at Arsenal to record their ninth successive loss on the road.

But at the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth are a different animal.

The Cherries have three wins and two draws in their last five league home matches.

Could Bournemouth face a Man City side without Sergio Aguero?

It’s been a knackering few days for Aguero. He played 120 minutes at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea, and 85 minutes against West Ham on Wednesday.

After the Hammers match, Pep Guardiola confirmed that his number one striker is “exhausted”

Guardiola has been forced to overplay Aguero in recent weeks as Gabriel Jesus has been sidelined.

In the event that Jesus is fit for the weekend’s match, it would be no surprise to see Aguero start the Bournemouth game on the bench.
