Deputy president William Ruto has come clean on the ongoing investigations studying the payment of Sh21 billion to the Italian firm whose officials, despite receiving the money, are alleged not to have visited the site.
According to the deputy president, the money in question is Ksh 7 billion and not Ksh 21 billion.
The Dp was speaking at the launch of Judiciary’s 2017/18 Performance Index is currently underway at the Supreme Court.
In his statement Ruto called the ongoing investigations a flat lie and said the correct information must be used in the fight against corruption.
