Ruto ally: Urgently merge operations of KQ with JKIA

Do you think KQ operations should be merged with JKIA? A close ally of Deputy President William Ruto and former Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale has urged the state to urgently merge the operations of Kenya Airways with Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Khalwale argues that Kenya Airways survival is under the biggest threat from other Airlines. He further argues that Ethiopian , Quatar, Emirates,Turkish and Rwandese Airlines are financially stable and are a threat to survival of Kenya Airways.

The Ford Kenya Party leader says the airlines are financially stable due to their merger with their National airports.\

“Urgently merge operations of KQ with JKIA Ethiopia, Quatar, Emirates,Turkish & Rwandese Airlines are financially stable and are a threat to survival of Kenya Airways. All have one thing in common, i.e, they have merged their operations with those of their national airports,” he said on his official twitter account.
