President Uhuru Kenyatta has congratulated his Nigerian counterpart president Muhammadu Buhari after his re-election win.
While taking to his twitter account he wrote, ” Congratulations H.E. @MBuhari on your re-election for a second term as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Your victory is a clear demonstration of the trust and confidence the people of Nigeria have in your ability to lead the country to greater heights of progress”

Buhari who has been re-elected for his second term won against his rival former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, with a margin of just under four million votes.
However, Kenyans were not so pleased with President Kenyatta’s Congratulatory message to Buhari.
Here are some reactions.
It’s a stolen mandate, Your Excellency. Buhari’s first term has been disastrous for Nigerians so there’s no basis for giving him a second term. Africa cannot progress if our leaders keep endorsing the rape of democracy and theft of power.— #IgboMade! (@OdogwuOgbete) February 27, 2019

Your congratulating Muhammadu Buhari someone who postponed elections dates, delayed announcing results and teargased voters. We are sorry Nigerians, these are Birds of the same feathers.
