AU Envoy and ODM leader Raila Odinga held a closed door meeting with Baringo Senator Gideon Moi in a Nairobi Hotel.
According to reports the two discussed the progress of the building bridges initiative,corruption issue as well as the State of the Nation in general.
Speculation is rife that the meeting between the two is likely to draw the attention of Deputy President William Ruto’s allies after their repeated remarks lately of a plot to have leaders from political dynasties keep ruling the country.
In 2018, Senator Moi hinted at forging a political pact with Mr Odinga but they have kept the country guessing on what the deal could be about.
Mr Moi also campaigned in one of Mr Odinga’s strongholds — Homa Bay County — for two consecutive days.
Kanu officials accompanied Mr Odinga to meet former President Daniel arap Moi.
