A new report revealed in a new study by data research analysts OdipoDev, in conjunction with King maker, an influencer management service firm. With over 700 internet users surveyed in Kenya between December 2018 and January 2019.
According to the study, that focused on how Kenyans are following social media influencers in making purchase decisions and marketing their businesses, the study revealed that Kenyans also do not have a specific reason why they follow social media influencers.
However, among the Most Engaging Online Personalities in Kenya (Jan – Dec 2018), Kenya’s Controversial Musician Akothee topped the Instagram personalities. The out spoken mother of 5 is followed by Njugush, Vera Sidika, Media personality Betty Kyalo and Otile Brown came in the 5th position.
Nairobi City Governor Mike Sonko is the leading facebook engaging personality of the year 2018, the speech boy is followed by Daniel Churchill Ndambuki the God Father of the Kenyan Comedy Industry and in the third position is none other than President Uhuru Kenyatta who is followed by DP William Ruto in the fourth position and Carol Rodul makes it 5th.
HE Uhuru Kenyatta tops the list of the most engaging twitter personalities of 2018, he is followed by Robert Alai and Deputy President Dr William Ruto comes third with Donald Kiprokir and It’s Mutai exists in the 5th position.
