Nyamira to arrest kids who did not proceed to form one

County commissioner for Nyamira Amos Mariba has threatened to order arrest for school dropouts who now roam in the streets.

Mariba has asked local administrative officers to ensure kids loitering on the streets ae captured.

Mariba said the move will help to know those who sat for last year’s KCPE but have failed to proceed.

Area administrators should not overlook kids roaming in the streets during tome for school. They should be arrested to help get to their parents who have refused to send them to school.

The security boss cautioned against laxity in work by chiefs, saying it is another first light in Nyamira County.

He encouraged guardians to be dependable and report to the police their children who have refused school.
