Earlier today, Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua met the entire Machakos County Government Staff for a meeting to align and share a working ideology for the County.
Mutua mentioned that the one on one interaction, is the best way to ensure that they are all operating from the same wavelength and that their people receive world class service.
The Governor urged the leaders to focus on development and have the right attitude towards service delivery to the people.
He also mentioned that lack of funds should not be an impediment towards service delivery. Mutua also emphasized that the needs of their people should always be a priority.
“I have put on notice Political sympathizers who continue to sabotage my government from within. Every staff member MUST work for the people without bias. They must also dedicate their energies towards the work they do, so that collectively, the success of the county is assured.” he said in his statement
He also demanded from his Ministers, Chief Officers and Directors, exceptional levels of professionalism, integrity and accountability.
The governor tasked them with leading the staff in a change of mindset, so that we work for the people, owning the projects and being part and parcel of the growth and development of the entire cCounty.
Alfred Mutua noted that his politics is all about development and therefore the leaders should align their action towards achieving that goal.
“We are doing alot for the people, Free polytechnics for the youth, bursaries, great strides in the agricultural sector. Great things. But, we could do better. With the right mindset, we can do great things.” he added
Mutua also called for a revolution expressing the for need quality leadership that will steer the Country in the right direction.
