A secondary school student has been found dead at a lodging in Narok town after what police believe is a an abortion gone wrong.
The young woman a form three student from Kisiara Secondary School is said to have been highly pregnant at time of her death.Police also have learnt that a man believed to have been having an affair with the woman is missing from the area raising doubts.
Police have moved the body to Kapkatet Hospital mortuary.
Narok county has been previously on the spot over FGM practices and teenage pregnancies.In November 2018, the Narok County Government proposed a controversial move to have secondary school girls checked for signs of female genital mutilation and pregnancy.
