Why Mwangi Wa Iria wants nurses to be employed on a contract basis



Murang’a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria is recommending that nurses in the nation be employed on a contract basis saying this will improve administration oversight.

Talking at Ihura Stadium amid the dispatch of Tiba Mashinani on Tuesday, Wa Iria said extortion on the premise compensation must stop.

In Mombasa, the medical attendants have suffered a blow after the area government alluded to acquiescing to Controller of Budget’s mandate, requiring the county to repudiate all the upgraded recompenses that reflected in the attendants’ January payslips.

The County head of Communications Richard Chacha said the county has started counsels with Kenya Union of Nurses Mombasa branch to take a shot at the modalities of recouping the paid stipends.

In Kakamega, nurses caretakers cancelled the strike three days after they brought down instruments and joined their associates in different districts to press for execution of upgraded uniform and different stipends.

Knun secretary Renson Bulunya flanked by his executive Eliud Molenje and different authorities declared the choice to end the strike yesterday and requested that all medical attendants report back to their obligation.
