Striking Nurses in Narok Thrown Out of Government houses.

The county government of Narok issued orders to striking nurses to vacate the government houses they are occupying in order to let the new recruits have where to sleep as they commit to serve Kenyans. Reports reveal that the county resorted to evict its nurses after they defied efforts by the county and national government to resume work.

Nurses strike took to the streets on 4th of February this year, the health cops have disregarded president Uhuru’s orders to return to work even when given stunning orders from their respective counties over possible replacements.

However, just like how any dying witch drops all secrets while confessing, the strike has seen some nurses in counties of Muranga’a, Kisii, Homa bay, Kisumu, Nakuru, Kakamega and Bomet other counties dropping of the strike to resume work after engaging with county governments to sort their pending issues.

On Wednesday, the health ministry and governors threatened to take disciplinary action against nurses who have defied court and presidential orders to resume duty.
