Arsenal Fans FEAR Europa League Exit To Rennes – ‘Not To Be Underestimated’

The Gunners overturned a 1-0 first leg defeat against BATE Borisov on Thursday to book their place in the next round of the Europa League.

Arsenal today learned Rennes would be their next opponents in the competition.

But despite avoiding European heavyweights such as Valencia, Sevilla and Napoli, some of the Emirates faithful are anxious ahead of the last-16 tie.

“Not as easy as some people think,” one Arsenal supporter wrote.
“Last time Rennes played an Emery team away they beat him 2-0…” another said.

“Very good team. Should not be underestimated,” one wrote.

“They have very good players and yesterday, they eliminated Betis,” added a fourth.

“We must not underestimate Rennes. We all knew what happened at BATE,” said one

Rennes star Hatem Ben Arfa will be reunited with former boss Unai Emery, who he blamed for ruining his PSG career.

The Frenchman was instrumental as Rennes beat Real Betis in the last round.

“We are very happy ourselves & very happy for all of France,” he said last night.

“Now we hope that PSG & Lyon will qualify, so that we can enjoy good moments altogether.”
