On Friday, a lawyer Brian Angwenyi sued Attorney General (AG) Paul Kihara, DPP Noordin Haji and Inspector General (IG) Joseph Boinnet for the alleged disappearance of five Chinese nationals under mysterious circumstances
The Chinese nationals went missing after their arrest on February 15, 2019.
The lawyer claimed that they were arrested on Ngong Road. In a sworn affidavit, Angwenyi listed the three as the respondents in this case.
The Chinese have reportedly not been seen since their arrest according to the petitioner.
Gang Shao, Xiaoying Qin, Yang Ting Ting, Li Kangzi and Nan Yangyang were taken to Nyayo House and later to immigration officers at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) but have been missing since then.
In the court papers, he indicates tat the missing persons have been looked for in police stations, morgues, and hospitals.
