Former opposition chief Raila Odinga has in-sighted to the political motive behind shedding off some counties.
During an interview with a local TV, Raila said that he speculates governors’ support as most of them are finishing their last term in their offices.
Raila hopes leverage on that as he champions for the move to reduce the counties.
During the interview, Raila refuted claims that he is preparing for 2022 succession politics.
