Police arrest 5 over land wrangles in Nakuru

Five people have been arrested in Nakuru after encroaching a private piece of land.

The five, including County Peace and Accord coordinator Andrew Yatich, claim that the land belongs to one Endao Company.

Nakuru North Sub-County Deputy County Commissioner Mutua Kisilu said the court battle for the land has taken 18 years and continues despite a ruling made on September 17, 2017 in favour of Kimani.

Earlier, the over 100 members of Endao Company engaged in running battles with the police as they demonstrated across the 561 acre farm.
