Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has apologised to his family for the mistakes he has made in recent months.
The France international posted a picture of himself and his partner Melanie Da Cruz on his Instagram page along with an apology where he acknowledged making mistakes.
He wrote: “I would like to apologise to my relatives, my beautiful family and especially my fiancée for the harm I have done in recent months.
“I made mistakes and I’m sorry it will not happen again!”
The post could be in reference to recent reports that the United star had cheated on his partner while she was pregnant with their first child, Swan, who was born in July.
Martial hit back at the reports last year again using a picture on Instagram where he said: “There will always be bad people, jealous in this world who will be ready to tell lots of bulls*** to be able to exist but thanks to God I know which way I go with the best by my side.”
He then went on to delete all of his social media channels but reactivated them at the end of January having agreed a new five year deal at United which will keep him at the club until 2024.
Despite issues in his personal life Martial has continued to impress for United on the pitch and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hopeful the attacker has recovered from the injury which kept him out of the win against Chelsea on Monday as they face Liverpool in the league on Sunday.
