Kenyans reveal the mischievous ways they used their HELB Loans

Every Kenyan University student knows the sweetness of HELB. It is that money that you waited for like Awuor’s followers waiting for the mighty prophet.

And HELB had a way of delaying the disbursement. I remember, going to the streets to demonstrate because of late disbursement. You see, HELB was the only thing that appreciated those students who performed better in High School.

The problem is how we used the loans. Kenyans have now revealed the the way this money was abused. Check some comments below:

I just came across this!! 😂😂
I received HELB once, but I didn’t borrow the money, they gave it to me as a token of appreciation for performing excellently in KCSE.
Kwanza ata hiyo pesa ya HELB haikunisadia kitu. #HELB #NRGBreakfastClub— Elvis Ndegeya (@DesAllwise) February 21, 2019

I used the money to buy a sub-hoofer which was stolen a few weeks later. Some of the money I used to buy a suit which I stopped wearing because comrades started thinking that I had joined prophet Awour’s church.
