Ahead of their UEFA Europa League clash against BATE Borisov, Arsenal manager Unai Emery has provided an injury update on Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Aaron Ramsey and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Ramsey missed the first leg 1-0 loss to BATE after was forced to miss Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town following a knee injury he sustained. Sokratis picked up an injury in the 3-1 loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup and has not featured since then for Arsenal but resumed training this week.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of the BATE return leg, Emery provided an injury update on Ramsey, Sokratis, and Maitland-Niles, “Yes, they are coming back with the team in the squad, Sokratis and Aaron Ramsey. Today Ainsley [Maitland-Niles] is sick and tomorrow we will see how he is, but today he cannot do the training. The other players are fit to play tomorrow.”
