Appearing at a Narok court, Albanian , Amarildo Korti was accused of assaulting businessman Munir Harun at his petrol station in Narok town on February 15, 2019.
The court heard that the tourist differed with the businessman when he went to fuel his car where he (Mr. Korti) set upon the complainant and assaulted him.
The accused’s lawyer, Martin Kilele, however objected him pleading to the charges saying he had not recorded a statement with the police and that he (accused) also had a complaint to lodge.
The magistrate granted the prayer, further directing that the tourist be presented at the County Criminal Investigations Office to record a statement and lodge his complaint.
He also ordered that the suspect be released on a cash bail of Ksh.50, 000 in addition to availing himself in court on Wednesday to plead to the charges as well as deposit his passport.
