An accident occurred on Wednesday morning at Miritini area near the new Standard Gauge Railway station in Mombasa County. According to an eyewitness account, a truck carrying sand lost control and hit the sides of a tunnel at Dongo Kundu bypass.
The driver of the truck was reportedly injured and is currently receiving treatment at Pwani Hospital. Police officers are already at the scene and clearing is currently underway.
