Tanzanian Sensation Juma Jux has revealed the one thing that his mother stopped him from doing as an artist.
The Singer was opening up to Mseto East Africa about his parents for the first time.
Juma Jux revealed that his father passed away about 9 years ago but also adds that both his parents have been supportive in his talent and music.
On whether they discouraged him from taking up his music, career, Juma said that he got all the support he needed since he began his music journey.
He also mentioned that after his father’s death, his mother was very supportive and she actually went an extra mile to pay for his first video shoot after he delved in the music industry.
Juma implies that he has a close relationship with his mother and he usually pays attention and honours what she says.
The Singer also revealed that the one thing that his mother stopped him from doing is plaiting his hair.
Jux says that his mother warned him about it saying that it is not right and he thought about it and decided not to do it.
The Singer says that denying himself that one thing would not cost him anything and therefore had to respect his mother’s opinion.
At that point, the singer already had piercings and therefore he did not want to go against his mother’s advice.
