African Netrepreneur Prize Initiative Will Accept Applications Starting From March

The Jack Ma Foundation is behind the Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative (ANPI) that was started in 2014.

For the next ten years, the Prize will be hosted in Africa and consider business pitches from young African entrepreneurs.

The top ten finalists will then compete for the cash prize of $1 million dollars for funding.

ANPI is also supported by Nailab, a continental partner that is focused on empowering and assisting entrepreneurs in the new age, with the aim of targeting small businesses evolving from grass-root communities.

According to Founder and CEO of Nailab, Sam Gichuru, The Netpreneur Prize Initiative is geared to connecting strong ecosystem players and have them interact in a traditional and technological-driven business spectrum.

Nevertheless, all ten finalists will be given grant funding from the Jack Ma Foundation, as well as access to some of the top African Business Leaders to share their resources, best practices, and community expertise.

The deadline for applications is 30th June 2019, with the announcement of the top 10 finalists expected to be in October 2019.
