Zinedine Zidane is reportedly interested in becoming Chelsea’s new coach but only if they match his conditions.
If he were to succeed Sarri at Stamford Bridge, Zidane would ask for:
- New deal for Eden Hazard because he would want to build a team around the Belgian.
- £200m kitty to improve the squad – but this depends if he sells players who are currently out of favour.
- A major say in recruitment alongside Chelsea director Marina Granoskaia.
However, sources close to the former Real Madrid manager said he is not expecting to land the job just yet as he respects that current manager Maurizio Sarri is still in control at the Bridge.
