Tanzanian Actress Wema Sepetu has opened up about her changed lifestyle months after she was banned from acting.
The Actress today gave her sigh of relief after the Tanzanian film board reached the decision of lessening her punishment.
The beauty has been banned from acting, after she shared explicit videos on her social media pages. Despite her apology, the Film Board punished her by keeping her off the industry and related works.
Speaking during a press conference today, the Film Board announced that they have given her a taste of freedom, not out of pity but because she complied to 75% of the orders she was given during her punishment.
In response to this move, Wema Sepetu says that she has learnt a lesson and she takes it as a second chance.
She also promised that she will change her lifestyle so that she can serve as a role model in the society and be a good example to the people who look up to her.
Wema Sepetu revealed that she used to complain that the ban limited her from making progress in her career and this was such a tough time for her.
The actress however said she was overwhelmed by the decision made by the Film Board and thanked them for not cancelling her film license.
The Board mentioned that they are convinced that her actions and behaviour is changed and therefore allowed her to continue with her career.
They also added that they will be following up on her lifestyle and if in any case she is found on the the wrong side of the law, more tough actions will be taken.
