Sanchez will kick start his career against Chelsea

On Monday evening, Manchester United and Chelsea will go head to head within the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge. Thus, with Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard out for a couple of weeks, it might be a chance for Alexis Sanchez to prove his worth, as per former Arsenal midfielder Ray ‘The Romford Pele’ Parlour:

“United have got a couple of injuries, so maybe this is the night for Alexis Sanchez. He’s not really clicked in a Manchester United shirt, but if you can get the best out of him and he can get his Arsenal form back, you’ve certainly got a magnificent player on your hands.

It’s all about confidence, and his was shot a little bit under Jose Mourinho. He didn’t play on a regular basis, he was in and out of the side where he was used to playing week in week out at Arsenal.

“When I saw him at Arsenal he was magnificent to watch. He always made things happen and scored brilliant and vital goals.

It will click sooner or later because he is a quality player. Just one goal could kick-start his Manchester United career again.”

Meanwhile, although Mourinho is no longer a part of Manchester United, the situation hasn’t changed much for the Chilean. Sanchez has played four games in the Premier League under Ole Gunner Solskjaer, three times coming off the bench. However, Alexis put on a show scoring once and providing a solid performance overall in the FA Cup tie against his former side Arsenal.
