AFC Leopards Legend Boniface Ambani hint on his ambition for Club’s top seat

Legendary AFC Leopards star and youth coach, Boniface Ambani has hinted that he could contest for a top seat in the club during the forthcoming elections slated for June.

The former Kenya international dropped the hint in a detailed Facebook post on Friday. Ambani went on to caution that the woe’s of the club will not be solved by politicians, asserting Ingwe’s problems sit with the current office that has Dan Mule in charge.

The post read ;

“Politicians will never have solutions to our football.I am looking for only 10,000 AFC Leopards and soccer fans. Real fans. Fans who are ready to join hands and steer this club to where it should be. Let’s do this. This will change Kenyan football as a whole.

Ambani  insisted the office bearers do not have the club’s interests at heart as they are using the positions to enrich themselves.

Ambani’s remarks come in the backdrop of horrendous performance in the league by the fallen Kenyan football giants coupled with a financial crunch that is threatening to cripple the club.

Recently, Ambani, who enjoyed an illustrious career with Ingwe declined a managerial role with the senior team. Leopards currently sit second from bottom after recording a string of poor results in the league.
