Felix Joao in action. The Portuguese who plays for Portugal side, Benfica has interested big football giants who are seeking his signature this summer.

Manchester United were the first English team to show interest in Benfica’s Felix Joao with reports earlier then indicating that the giants had send some officials in Portugal to watch the young talented player in the field.

Manchester United are locked in battle with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League – and for the teenage sensation tipped to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo.

Joao Felix, 19, has had a mind-blowing £105million price tag placed on his head as scouts flock to Benfica to watch him in action as a hugely talented attacking midfielder.

United and PSG are two of Felix’s biggest admirers but they are in joined in the rush to sign him by Europe’s elite including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

They view Felix as the hottest property on the market and his main ambition is to follow in Ronaldo’s famous footsteps.

Felix shares the same super-agent in Jorge Mendes who represents Ronaldo and the Juventus superstar is aware, too, of the Benfica boy’s talents. Ronaldo has been spotted at Benfica games watching Felix whose burning desire has always been to play one day with his hero.

But Juve are clearly not in the running with United and PSG heading the race for his signature in the summer.

United, meanwhile, have reportedly renewed their interest in signing Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves but only if they drop their £100m valuation, according to the European media.

Ruben Neves Wolverhampton was reported to be hunted by Manchester United.

Wolves paid £15.8m for Neves when they bought him from Portuguese club Porto in July 2017 and helped them storm to the Championship title last season.

The 21-year-old has continued to impress this season making the step up to the Premier League look effortless at times.

United have had scouts monitoring his progress all season but their interest did dip following the sacking of Jose Mourinho who shares the same agent Jorges Mendes.

And like arch-rivals City who are also interested they won’t offer anything like the £100m that Wolves are believed to be valuing Neves at.
