What Ronaldo thinks of Mo Salah’s move to Juventus

According to the Mirror and Sky Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo have given Juventus the greenlight to make a move for Liverpool’s Mo Salah.  Salah is on the radar of the Italian giants, who are allegedly looking to complete a big-money move for the Egyptian in the summer transfer window. Juventus have already agreed a deal to land Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer at the end of the season, but are looking to strengthen up top too.

According to Sky News Arabia, the Serie A champions have ran the idea of signing last season’s Premier League Golden Boot winner past the top players at the club. b Ronaldo is alleged to be right behind the signing, and has given Juventus the green light to go ahead and make the transfer happen. The report adds that Juventus would need to part with a fee of around £175million to make the transfer happen. One man who could go the other way is Paulo Dybala.

The 25-year-old could even be sold as part of a player-plus-cash deal to secure Salah. The Liverpool forward is the Premier League’s joint top scorer this season alongside Manchester City hitman Sergio Aguero.

Dybala, meanwhile, has attracted plenty of interest from other top flight English clubs with Manchester United believed to be keen on signing him. The Argentine joined Juventus in 2015 from Palermo for just £28million.

Meanwhile, Reds icon Ian Rush, who also represented the Bianconeri in his playing days, doubts one deal will happen but has backed Aaron Ramsey’s switch to Italy.

He told Corriere di Torino: “I think Salah will stay at Liverpool.

“The fans love him and he is fine here. He signed a new contract, I do not think the exchange will be made.”

Aaron Ramsey Arsenal Juventus

While Salah is unlikely to be heading to Italy any time soon, Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will be treading that path at the end of the season. He has a lucrative pre-contract agreement in place with Juve as he prepares to drop into the free agent pool. Rush believes a fellow Welshman is making the right career call as he is eager to get his hands on major silverware.

“He’s a fantastic player, a very reserved person, a man of the family. Juventus care a lot about how their players act off the pitch and he’s a genuine person, the right man for the Bianconeri,” said Rush. “Why Juve? I spoke to him a couple weeks ago, he’s always been convinced of this choice because he wants to win trophies and Juve has always been the first choice for him. He believes that they have more chances to win than other teams.”
