Valentine’s day is defined as the day people celebrate their loved ones, send gifts and commemorate love.
This, however, is a different case in some parts of Africa as ‘girlchild’ appreciates material things rather than being there for them. You just ‘spoil’ her and you win her heart. It is that simple.
The world celebrated Valentine’s day on 14th February and the environment turned red with flowers and clothes. The super bright day saw lovey-dovey couple flaunting their photos and gifts online and beautiful dates. Even the gay community was not left behind in celebrating their dear ones. The famous South African gay Mr. Tau extended his love to Mr. Tau with a beautiful ‘gay’ photo.
One Kenyan, however, woke up in his left ‘left side of the bed’. The man came late for a date and his date was not happy at all. Boychild respected the ‘African time’ by coming late and he lost his ‘jewel’.
The lady was furious and took the flowers and stepped on them, an indication that she was tired of wasting time.
This should be a lesson to all men out there, always keep time.
