An Abortion it was! This was the finding of a pathological examination conducted on the late Caroline Mwatha’s remains.
Caroline went missing last week only for her lifeless body to be found at City mortuary.
A Post-mortem conducted on her showed thet she indeed died from a botched abortion process that led to excessive bleeding from a ruptured uterus.
Independent Pathologist Peter Ndegwa said that Ms Mwatha had a male foetus of five to six months still inside her womb, but which is mutilated, one hand is missing and the skull badly injured.
“The uterus was perforated at the backside. There was an attempt to dismember the foetus because one hand was missing and part of the skull was injured,” Dr Ndegwa said.
It has now emerged that before this last abortion process that caused her life, Caroline had procured two previous abortions all with an aim of saving her marriage.
She made the first attempt but was not successful, the second one too was not successful only for the third attempt that was conducted within Dandora phase 4 at a certain local clinic to prematurely end her life on 7th February, 2019. This is according to Hessy wa Dandora.
Hessy has also called on the media to stop linking the police with Caroline’s death.
