Since the promotion of interior CS Fred Matiang’i by President Uhuru Kenyatta, The Deputy President has been a very calm man making peculiar calls.

His constant movement with his allies in the name of inspecting various development project were reduced to nothing. The plans by his allies to continue with their Tangatanga mission was hit by a snarl after the President issued them with standing orders to cease from their early politicking.

This has brought the country in a relaxed mood unlike when he was moving in different parts of the country inspecting the government projects.

In what we call as renewing his mission DP Ruto graced the celebrations to mark Bishop Thiong’o’s 50 years of God’s Ministry, Kitale, Trans Nzoia County.

DP Ruto insisted the importance of the Church referring to it as the pillar of faith:

“The Church is a pillar of faith, which provides abode and refuge to all. We pay tribute to Bishop Samuel Thiong’o of PEFA Church for his stewardship; ministering peace and unity; spreading the gospel; imbuing spiritual growth to his flock and helping transform lives.”

The Deputy President is expected to continue with his mission throughout the weekend as he tours different churches from the region.
