The Kenya Film Classification Board has today announced a major partnership with local creative artists to revamp the industry.
For a start,KFCB has teamed up with Dr Kingori who will be having a comedy event tonight at the Nairobi Cinema.
KFCB Boss Ezekiel Mutua says that this is so far their biggest partnership with a local creative artist at the newly acquired KFCB Nairobi Cinema facility.
In the efforts to offer his full support for the event, Mutua promised to buy tickets for the first ten people to arrive at the Auditorium.
He also stated that they are delighted to see the great interest shown by various artists in the use of Nairobi Cinema which is the biggest theater in East and Central Africa.
Mutua also said that they are are looking forward to the game changing partnership with Churchill; the father of stand up comedy in Kenya in making Nairobi Cinema the home of film and theatre activities in Kenya.
“Working with Church and the County Government of Nairobi, @InfoKfcb intends to make the Aga Khan Walk stretch the Arts District of Nairobi complete with facilities for film, theater, fashion and other creative activities.” he stated
Mutua also added that this comedy event will go a long way to revamp the creative industry.
