Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Engaged

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are engaged after he proposed on Valentine’s Day with an enormous ring.

The Roar singer looked loved up as she cuddled with Orlando at what appears to be their engagement party, with Katy’s mum Mary Hudson sharing pictures from the heart-themed soiree.

She also shared a snap of the ring, which features a huge precious gem that looks to be a ruby.

Katy herself hasn’t confirmed the news yet, but did share an Instagram snap of the couple’s dogs.

“Feeling loved today from all y’all… Sending it right back at ya from us. Happy mushy gushy day,” she captioned it.

The couple have been dating since early 2016, after Katy’s divorce from Russell Brand.

Posting an image of Katy, hugging beau Orlando, 42, in front of a heart-shaped floral trellis Mary wrote: “Look who got engaged on Valentine’s Day!!”

Another photo shows a pink diamond-encrusted floral-shaped ring on Katy’s engagement finger.

The engagement will pave the way for both Katy and Orlando’s second marriage having previously married comedian Russell brand and model Miranda Kerr, respectively.

Katy – real name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson – first started dating the Lord of the Rings actor in January 2016 after they were spotted looking flirty at a Golden Globes after-party.

They reportedly split just over a year later but the pair reportedly reunited at a New Year’s party in Japan in 2018 and have remained together since.

Katy previously married comedian Russell Brand in 2010 before splitting 14 months later, crediting not being ready to have kids as the reason for the split.

Similarly the Pirates of the Caribbean actor went through a public split from Victoria Secret’s model Miranda Kerr in 2013 after three years of marriage.

They now share custody of their eight-year-old son.

Miranda, went on to marry Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel in 2017.

Earlier this week Katy hit headlines after she was forced to shelf her latest fashion line amid accusations the shoes resembled a black face.

The design of the footwear, featuring a face with red lips and blue eyes, sparked outrage on social media with critics branding them “ignorant” and “ugly.”
