Arsenal loss to FC BATE was as disappointing as it was boring and one dimensional. Unai Emery’s side never looked like they would be getting a goal at any point in the match and that was perfectly summed up by striker Alexander Lacazette’s late red card for elbowing an opponent on the halfway line.
To be brutally honest, Arsenal have not played well for large patches of this season despite being just a point behind Manchester United who are fourth on the the Premier League table. The attacking play that was witnessed during the Arsene Wenger Era has long being binned by Unai Emery who favors a more cautious approach.
The result has led Arsenal fans to launch a new hashtag on twitter dubbed #EmeryOut that seeks to have the manager sacked. Here are the best tweets from a clearly angry Arsenal fanbase.
We should never lose to these types of teams no matter how bad we are. #EmeryOut @UnaiEmery_ @Arsenal

Creativity gone…
We give him a year. Özil gone. Ramsey gone. Our creativity gone. We r going to screw ourselves just to see if he provides any indicators. #EmeryOut

Arsenal do have a chance to turn the tie round when they host the second leg on Thursday but should the performance be as poor, the #emeryOut bandwagon will still be on.
