The unbelievable happens while police are transporting Caroline Mwatha’s body

A postmortem that was to be conducted on the body of Caroline Mwatha was again delayed on Thursday morning.

City Mortuary attendants who have been on strike kept off the facility, prompting Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor to move the exercise to Umash Funeral Home.

The Chief Government Pathologist, Johansen Oduor, had at City Mortuary at around 10am only to find the morgue attendants missing and was forced to open the door to the mortuary by himself while police officers kept a close look.

Soon after, transportation was organized under the supervision of the police to have the body taken to Umash where the postmortem was set to take place.

However soon after the entourage left the facility escorting Mwatha’s body with a number of police vehicles,some activist who had blocked the road caused a major delay which resulted to police forcing their way out of the menace.

It was then that a demonstrator was hit and left fighting for his life on the road.
