Caroline Mwatha’s Postmortem Postponed Again because of this shocking Reason

The family of slain Dandora based activist Caroline Mwatha will have to wait a bit longer to know the cause of her death. This is after her postmortem was delayed indefinitely on Thursday morning.

The postmortem was supposed to take place on Wednesday, but was delayed because Government patholigist Johansen Oduor was not in the city. The latest delay is due to the ongoing nurses strike in Nairobi County.

The city mortuary, which is under the jurisdiction of the Nairobi County government, has suffered an acute shortafe of staff due to the ongoing strike.

Caroline’s body was discovered at the facility on Tuesday after being reported missing a week ago. The DCI has said that she died while trying to procure an abortion at a private clinic in Dandora.

Her family has since refuted the claims. They’re hoping the postmortem will provide more clear answers.
