Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen has threatened a divorce should Wayne continue with his excessive drinking habit.
This comes hot on the heels of a standoff that pitted the former Manchester United skipper against his wife concerning holidaying.
Drinking with barmaid
Wayne, 33 apparently did not see any mistake he did by hanging out with a barmaid Vicki Rosieck drinking shots and cocktails the whole night.
He is even quoted to have said that no one would care about his behaviour if he was a baker or a post man. According to Wayne, people are way over the top concerned about how he should live his life.
Unapologetic Rooney
A close confidant of Coleen said that Wayne has not cared to apologise to Coleen about the drinking incident.
She is furious he has not apologised for boozing with a barmaid until 2.30am — and at his “total lack of remorse”
“Coleen and her family have made it clear that unless Wayne gets help for his out-of-control drinking, the marriage will be over.
“No one can drink like Wayne. But it feels different this time. His behaviour is spiralling out of control.
Marriage on the rocks
The union between Coleen and Rooney is said to have deteriorated since the 33 year old ace moved to DC. Close sources told a reputable international media that Wayne was probably unhappy with his role at the new club.
The aftermath of Wayne’s discontent is said to have spilled into their home too.
“Coleen has no friends in the US and goes to bed early while Wayne stays awake playing computer games and drinking.
Miserable couple
“They’re both miserable. Wayne’s friends and family think a lot of his issues come from the fact he’s not happy with the quality of football at his new club.
“Coleen can’t keep going through this. She’s so lonely and has no emotional support.”
