Moses Kuria is known for uttering unkind words that keep ‘netizens‘ wagging about his venomous tongue for days. However, in an unusual twist, the Gatundu South Member of Parliament  baffled many as he announced that he would grant a full scholaship to Felistas Wanjiku a second-hand clothes dealer.

Felistas is  a graduate of the University Nairobi with a degree in Political Science and Sociology who sells second-hand clothes at Gatundu Market.

”Felistas is hustling her way selling second-hand clothes at Gatundu Market, the same way my mother and I used to sell fresh produce to pay for my high school education. All the best Felistas Wanjiku. Go to London and be a beacon of hope to other Wanjikus,” said Moses Kuria.

The legislator also said that he has a plan in which he seeks to eliminate joblessness in Gatundu in the next 12 months. This he said will be achieved by offering foreign and local job and internship placements whilst offering seed capital funding to those who wished to venture into conducting business.
