Kenyan or a Mzungu? Who really Discovered the Black Panther in Laikipia?

Who was the first person to discover the rare black panther in Laikipia county? News broke on Wednesday that a white man had discovered the rare species of the black leopard at the Loisaba Conservancy in Laikipia.

According to KWS, the rare spectacle was caught on camera by British Wildlife Photographer Will Burrard-Lucas

According to the National Geographic, the last time such an animal was spotted in Africa was in 1909 in Ethiopia. International news outlets have heaped praise on the photographer for making history.

But one Kenyan has come out to say that she saw the black panther in 20o1. The woman also wondered how comes a Mzungu is the one who spotted it for the first time.

It has also been revealed that the black leopard was spotted in Meru along time ago but locals were dismissed. They were waiting for a whiteman to come discover it!
