Kenyan artist Gabu has narrated how he met with WCB artist Mbosso.
The artists recently dropped their song ‘Mastory’ which is doing well in the music industry and generally in the entertainment world.
A song that has also brought their fans from different parts of the globe together to support their music.
The duo met when Gabu came to Kenya during a media tour back in 2018 which Gabu says is a very important thing for any musician.
Gabu said that he called on him in his studio, Compact Records and they both worked on a song at that time.
The Kenyan artist said that they recorded their song after Mbosso had listened in to the drafted concept and idea that Gabu had.
They however kept it pending since both of them had other projects that they were working on.
Speaking to Mseto East Africa, Gabu says that what he likes about Mbosso is that he is young, humble and talented.
The fact that they worked together is a big deal since Mbosso got to introduce Gabu to his fans.
Many people love the WCB artist Mbosso and this was definitely a win for both of them.
Gabu on his end also has lovers of his music and the agreement between the duo to collabo on a song was a perfect idea.
The Kenyan artist also believes that music is a business and what this collabo has taught him is that if you want to work with an artist, you have to link up with them.
He also believes that when East African Musicians join the efforts then the entertainment industry will get a boost.
