An old man has lost his life at Ahero sub county hospital, Nyando after he was attacked by a mob suspected to have been practising witchcraft.
Ahero sub county hospital Superitendant Dr Bernard Owino had earlier said they managed to stabilise him after be was brought to the hospital immediately after the mob justice.
Dr. Owino revealed that the man lost his life as he was being put in an ambulance to be transferred to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital for further care.
According to him, the deceased suffered severe head and chest injuries alongside multiple fractures from blunt objects.
He added that the daughter who was also injured in the melee as they attempted to burn down his house,has been transferred to JOOTRH and she is in a stable condition.
