CAROLINE MWATHA’S DEATH MUST NOT BE IN VAIN! It has been made public that Caroline Mwatha has been found dead bringing a grim end to a one week search for the Dandora Human Rights Activist. I wish to take this opportunity to offer my profound condolences to the husband of the departed and her entire family. I cannot begin to imagine the pain and anguish they must be going through right now. We will walk this difficult journey with you and ensure Caroline is laid to rest in dignity. I wish to assure the entire civil society fraternity that her death shall not be in vain. I will work tirelessly and knock on every door possible, to ensure that those responsible for this heinous crime are held to account. And if those doors are not opened when we knock, we will break them down! The culture of convenient disappearance of voices that make the status quo uncomfortable must come to an end! May God rest Caroline’s soul in eternal peace! Comrade Babu Owino, MP, Embakasi East and Leader, Youth For Africa Movement.
